It is a story of a widower with children and a widow with children who meet and like each other. They date for some time and decide to marry. There are some wonderful humerous times while they try to blend the families together. Not all of the children are happy about the transition in the beginning. There are schedules for who uses the bathroom for showers each day and for chores and who buddies up with a younger sibling to make sure they are ready for the day. Somewhere along the way, the Mrs. finds out that she is pregnant and the turmoil begins. The children are not all happy about the upcoming event in the beginning. But as large families with lots of love tend to do, they all overcome their difficulties and in the end, the arrival is celebrated and they all overcome most of the differences between them, arriving at a large, noisy, happy family!
